Mrs funnybones is a 2015 Indian non-fiction book written by former movie actress Twinkle Khanna and published by Penguin India. The book is about the life of a modern Indian woman, comprising of short stories revealing issues related to marriage, Indian rituals, having children. Twinkle Khanna beautifully presents

the quandary of middle-aged women. 

Do not pick this book if you are looking for an autobiography of a movie star or planning to read a full fledged novel. Read this book only if you are looking for something which can tickle your bones as well as can make you rethink about the issues revolving around us in this modern World.

The language is easy, entertaining, clever and you will enjoy reading it. It is a quick read and light-hearted. This book can motivate and influence you without being so heavy on your mind. Some parts of the book are drawn from her own experiences in life and they are warmly expressed. I found this book occasionally funny and it gives you an insight of the life of a film star. I felt that that the author had stereotypical views and was often cribbing about her daily life.
