When love met Art
"LOVE MET ART"
By Rishab Verma
In everyone's life, there comes a moment which creates a huge impact on their whole
existence, some moments could be the best and some could be worst.
But some moments are so intense that they are just indescribable in words.
Although, it is very difficult for me to explain what love exactly is.
But everyone have their own perspective, and mine is quite different as well.
Recently I have realised, everyone's respective is right.
My first love was very unexpected, and it lead me towards my Art.
The girl that I loved, she caught my eye when she was feeding a poor street dog .
I was also a animal lover too.
I kept on watching her, as she ran across me so beautifully swaying her purple skirt.
She was like a butterfly hopping in the spring flowers.
That night, I couldn't sleep to capture her memory I started to draw her.
And that's how I created my first portrait my first step towards art.
I sketched my love with trembling hands and imperfect lines on a rugged sheet of paper.
That emotion of "love" was very alien to me .
I was not sharing my pristine feelings with anyone, not even my friends
And because of this I started sketching more frequently.
And very slowly, art started to become my unspoken voice, my voice of love for her.
I watched her play on that nearby park, saw her dance into some tuneless song .
I loved watching her across the hallway whenever she walked with her friends,
laughing and smiling into some jokes I haven't heard.
And there I was, standing motionless completely invisible in her world.
That was my first love, who helped me to meet my passion my art,
helped me to realise my dreams and goals of life.
And up to this day I am so thankful to her,
because she is the only reason for me to enter this world of art.
